Life Insurance for Skydivers

Skydiving is considered by many as an ‘extreme’ sport and although injuries from this sport are not frequent, it is still considered a high risk activity. There are some insurance companies that offer life insurance for skydivers providing that you are a certified member of the British Parachute Association.

Most insurance providers will categorise skydiving as part of an ‘adventure sports’ or ‘activities’ cover and there are many companies that offer tailored policies on life insurance for skydivers and other thrill-seeking sport enthusiasts.

If you intend to travel and sky dive, make sure that your life insurance policy allows for this. Skydiving or parachuting may not be covered in your existing life policy terms as some insurers will exclude certain sporting activities.
