A recent poll of Fair Investment Company investors found that 36 per cent leave it right until the last minute to invest their ISA (individual savings allowance).

But as the end of the tax year falls on bank holiday Monday, and the postal deadline for applications has already passed, where can you go to make the most of your 2009/2010 ISA?

Many ISA providers allow for online applications – some allowing investors to deposit their cash right up until midnight on 5 April.
