Co-op home insurance gives £10 to homeless charity Shelter for each policy

For every Co-operative home insurance policy bought online in December, £10 will be donated to the housing and homelessness charity Shelter.
This winter, householders can ensure that their home is protected against the elements with home insurance, while helping to make sure that Britain’s homeless are also offered some shelter.
Co-operative home insurance offers up to £500,000 rebuilding costs, up to 40 per cent no claims discount, legal expenses and advice, a free HomeRescue helpline, pre-travel advice and emergency travel assistance.
Householders can currently save a third on contents insurance when they buy it online with buildings insurance from Co-operative home insurance.
