Independent financial website, Fairinvestment.co.uk has launched a new service to help consumers make informed investment choices.
The service, which offers information about the different types of investment vehicles available and access to leading investment products, has been launched in response to consumers’ increasing frustration with low savings rates.
“We recognise that savers are no longer getting the high interest rates they once were and want to get better returns on their money but are not sure where to start,” explains David Doulton director at Fairinvestment.co.uk. “So we have launched this new service to provide consumers with clear solutions to the challenges that face them in today’s market conditions.”
The service offers a thematic approach with options for those seeking income or growth with both structured products and fund based solutions available. Reflecting the times there is also a selection of capital protected products available.
The service is a significant expansion from the online share dealing and share dealing ISAs previously available on the website and reflects the changing face of the demand in the marketplace for investment solutions online. Partners include Barclays Wealth, Jupiter, Scottish Widows and Skipton Building Society.
“Our service aims to empower those moving money out of banks and building societies to make their own investment decisions and potentially achieve higher income or better growth options for their money. We also offer advice on more complex situations through a network of independent financial advisors” explained Mr Doulton.
Products that appear in the Fairinvestment.co.uk investment tables have been selected based on their investment pedigree and objective, so that investors have access to quality products that meet their needs.
Jon Rawley at partner Skipton Building Society, says the service allows consumers to become much more investment savvy.
“We are pleased to offer our Guaranteed Double Asset Bond via Fair Investment and their comparative tables allow a potential investor to quickly compare and consider this product, and its features and benefits, within the marketplace,” he said.
“Keeping up to date with new investment products and finding the right home for your money has never been more important and the comparison tables provided by Fairinvestment.co.uk are a valuable tool for any investor. The site provides clear, informative information and allows the browser to view and contrast a large number of savings and investment products easily with a simple application process,” he added.
