EBRD – $75 million loan to help Russian potash producer extended

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development decided to extend a seven-year, $75 million loan to Russia’s largest potassium producer, Uralkaly.

Uralkaly is to use $55 million of the loan to build the company’s own power-generating facilities, which will help cut production costs and greenhouse gas emissions.
